Ten Second Review
Range Rover Evoque Lease Review - This is one of the biggest selling SUV cars on the market and for a good reason. The Evoque is an up-market and stylish car which caters to those who want a combination of power, status and comfort for urban and long distance driving. WIth a myriad of options from 2-4 wheel drive, coupe or 5 door and every customisable option imaginable this is a vehicle made for those who know what they want. Put simply you can't argue with one of the best selling SUV crossovers on the market, it's a great car and the public have voted with their feet.
The Evoque is in an unfortunate position. Usually this might be a more luxurious SUV, with even the lowly Pure model coming with leather upholstery and an 8 inch touchscreen entertainment system. But it is overshadowed by its bigger brother, the £80,000 Range Rover 4x4. However, this is certainly not a poor man’s Range Rover. For a start, it is still around £30,000 retail for the basic model, but is much more economical than its bigger cousins, and comes with plenty of optional extras.
It also doesn’t have the sheer size of the Range Rover 4x4, and looks fantastic with a sleeker front end and mean grille that are sure to turn a few heads. It is far more economical to run, especially in the lower ranges, with the 2-wheel drive models easier on fuel and CO2 than their 4 wheel counterparts. As with all land rovers this is safe and secure, with some top-of-the-line security kit that will deter any thieves. Inside the cabin is roomy and practical, with room for four very tall adults.
Unfortunately, those three rear seats won’t be folding flat, which does limit boot-space in a car with an already high floor. The rest of the interior is well designed, the Prestige models focusing particularly on the luxury feel with chrome finish. Lastly, and most importantly, this is a great range for variety in style and engines, with 2 and 4 wheel drive models spread between 2.0 litre and 2.2 litre petrol and diesel engines available. As for the whole package, I would probably go for a five door diesel, as you get batter back-seating than the coupe and the diesel feels so much better during acceleration. This is a nifty city-model for the Range Rover, and well worth a look.
