Hyundai i30 Lease Review - The Hyundai i30 line has several models in it. Whether you pick the three door or five door version, you’ll be getting a car that fits nicely down even the smallest of city streets but still accelerates well when out on the open motorway.

The base model of the i30 is a 1.4 litre engine that when matched with the six-speed manual transmission can offer 89 horsepower. There are also larger 1.6 litre engines available in both petrol and diesel. No matter which engines you choose, the automatic transmissions reduce fuel efficiency, so unless you need one, go for the manual transmission instead.

A wide range of trim options are also available, so you can customise the outside as well as the inside. Standard features include air conditioning, Bluetooth, and a USB plug-in. All of them bring you a car with a solid appearance that won’t break the bank. Alloy wheels and cruise control are nice options that are available.

The suspension is light and the ride is nice over even the roughest of winter roads. Its steering is a bit stiff even with the Flex Steer system activated that lets you adjust your steering based on road conditions or desired handling.

If you're looking to get a Ford focus style vehicle but not have to pay top price for it then the Hyundai i30 is a great alternative. It is bang on in terms of quality and appearance, the only real difference is that Hyundai is a less established player in the UK market. So you're essentially trading a huge brand name for a discount. With a comfortable interior, good fuel economy and a stable drive there's not much to fault with the new i30 from Hyundai!
