Volkswagen Passat Estate Lease Review - The VW Passat Estate is a compelling car for business drivers; with superfluous space for cargo and a roomy cabin, it suits just about any common need. It comes with a choice of two engines, the 1.6 litre TDI (120 and 150) and the 2.0 litre TDI (150, 190 and 240). The 2.0 versions seem to be the best choice for performance, as they both feel natural and effortless on the road. Only go for the higher power version if you have a specific need for speed, since the lower powered versions should adequately suffice if you're just looking for a casual car to get you around.

The Estate conquers bumps and potholes with an exceptional mastery; the only problems arise when you hit a deep pothole at high speeds. Shock absorbers on the top spec GT version might help to remedy this even further. Steering is direct, accurate and quick. With no want for grip on this car, you'll have no problem making it through the winter. Insulation is up to par for high speeds, so there's almost no noise whatsoever getting into the cabin, whether it be from winds or the engines. The bigger the wheels you get, though, the more noise will come from driving through disagreeable landscapes.
