We have a hot deal on the Volkswagen ID.Buzz Cargo van on a business lease: just £218.59 a month.
This is an amazing offer! In fact, right now it’s one of our lowest-priced van monthly rentals – lower than most of our diesel van offers.
And of course, being a lease you don’t have to think about what its future residual (used) value will be, so you can just enjoy getting on with the big savings on running costs (especially if you can charge on a domestic wall-mounted charger at home).
The Volkswagen ID.Buzz Cargo is the van version of the ID.Buzz, the all-new all-electric MPV which went on UK sale in 2022 after decades of VW teasing us with concept cars. It picked up all those old campervan vibes wrapped up in a great electric MPV which you can fit any size of people and all their gear in – or a double mattress if you fancy.
Roll up in an ID.Buzz Cargo (silently, no annoying your customer’s neighbours) and its friendly face should get your business instant cool points and send a good sustainability message. It isn’t available in campervan-style two-tone paint but you can have eyepopping all-over shades such as Lime Yellow or Bay Leaf Green. The version we offer, the Commerce, includes heated seats, Apple CarPlay and an anti-theft system.
The Cargo is a proper van with a regular-shaped boxy carrying space (3.9 cubic metres in all), and two sliding doors each side as well as the rear. There are either two or three seats in the front, you can have a bulkhead with or without a window and lots of racking options. One interesting option is an electrically retractable towbar. The charging cables are neatly stowed in a compartment below the floor accessed from the side.
It has a 204PS electric motor shared with the Volkswagen ID.4 which is coincidentally rear mounted like the old petrol original. Under the floor, the 77kWh battery will give a quoted EV driving range of 258 miles, which is very competitive in the electric van class. Even if real-life mileage turns out lower, that’s several days of customer visits around your locality. Volkswagen says the battery can go from 5% to 80% charged in 30 minutes on a suitable charger.
At 4.7m long the ID.Buzz Cargo is as easy to drive as a car and isn’t a pain to park (parking sensors are standard), and it also has a great turning circle. Like the ID.Buzz it has a single-speed gearbox controlled by a stalk on the steering column, so there are no gears to change, which makes town deliveries easier with two pedals or even one (with regenerative braking the motor both slows the van and boosts the charge).
Due to the weight of the battery an unloaded electric van typically weighs slightly more than an unloaded diesel van, so an electric van’s maximum payload is generally less than an equivalent diesel. The maximum payload of an ID.Buzz Cargo Commerce is still a useful 710kg.
So, don’t wait: upgrade your van and upgrade your image with our special deal on the VW ID.Buzz Cargo.
