BMW 4 Series Convertible Lease Review - Inside each one of us lurks someone who wants to let their hair down, put the top of the car down and take a pleasurable and relaxing drive in the country or along the coast, with the wind whipping against our face. For that, though, the perfect car is necessary.

Enter the BMW 4 Series Convertible, with its retractable hard-top and powerful engines that can take you anytime, anywhere.

This convertible is equipped with yet another one of BMW’s innovations, the Air Breather aerodynamic design. As a result, it has a low centre of gravity, a great balance, and power that one hopes to find – but rarely finds – in a convertible. The insulated top can go up or down in around 20 seconds only.

The TwinPower Turbo engine gives a sporty element to the drive. Buyers can choose to go with the 240 bhp 2-litre four-cylinder engine, or the 300bhp 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder one. Either way, you will be working with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Those who are looking for a manual transmission, however, will not find one here.

The interior of the BMW 4 Series Convertible is no joke, either. It’s state-of-the-art, and has been designed with a smart driver in mind. Of course, it also scores a lot of points for providing a comfortable ride. Whether the hard-top is up or in its retracted state, space will never be an issue inside this convertible.

The BMW 4 Series Convertible is an all-wheel and all-weather car that you will no doubt be greatly satisfied each and every time you take it out for a spin – with the top up or down.

Even though the number 4 doesn't often feature in the line up of BMW cars this is a welcome addition to the pack. Essentially the 4 series isn't too far off the form and lines of what we're used to seeing from BMWs with a 3 in their name. The convertible model adds a bit of flair and extra sportiness to the series and if you're looking to really enjoy your vehicle during the summer months then this is the way to do it. In line with other BMW cars the 4 series runs smoothly, has great responsiveness and feels like a quality drive from start to finish.
